The Swiss luxury watch brand Ulysse Nardin Watch, known for its historical connection with the marine world, launched a new Marine Mega Yacht watch at the Miami Yacht Show. This unique new timepiece combines some of the most demanding complications, including a flying tourbillon, tide indicator and moon phase indicator.
This platinum timepiece is 44 mm in diameter and features a marine-inspired blue Grand Feu enamel dial. The dial is decorated with many nautical symbols, including a miniature pattern on the bow of a luxury vessel. The flying tourbillon rotates at 60 revolutions per hour and is housed in a cage decorated with a propeller with specially polished blades. Marine Mega Yacht watch
This unique model is powered by the UN-631 movement operating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. The movement is assembled from 504 parts to ensure a power reserve of 80 hours. The movement is designed to provide an analog time display, a 3D display of the moon phases, and real-time display of the tide height associated with a specific location, as well as indicating seasonal factors.
The right side of the dial shows realistic miniatures of anchors and chains, which may seem purely decorative. In fact, the anchor chain will move with the movement of the winding crown, thereby indicating the power reserve.
