In addition to being an innovator and leader in the field of high-tech watchmaking, Richard Mille is also a well-known car enthusiast, especially classic racing cars. Therefore, he was a member of the duo that founded the Le Mans Classic in 2002, which makes perfect sense. This biennial event is not just a simple race around the famous 13.65-kilometer track, but a game that has attracted more than 100,000 classic and vintage car enthusiasts from all over the world. As early as when the event first started, apart from the title of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this was the only time a full track (including public roads that had to be closed) was used for the race.

This is the eighth watch created by the brand to celebrate this event, limited to 150 pieces. The 40.10 x 48.15 case is composed of a white quartz TPT middle case and a green quartz TPT (QTPT) front and back frame. The top and bottom of the front bezel are inlaid with Le Mans-style white QTPT double stripes. These faster-running stripes are perfectly matched with the white rubber strap to create the perfect sporty look and wear on your wrist when you are driving a 1960s Ferrari or Ford on a racetrack in northwestern France.

The skeleton movement has an oversized date display at four o’clock and a variable geometry rotor system that drives a double barrel. This watch is powered by the calibre RMSA7 movement.
